Purple!!! One reason I’ve always loved the color purple is that it’s different, weird, quirky, odd…. Purple stands out and is in a class by itself. I love it. I know I’m all these things because of how most people react to me.
Most times they don’t know how to react to me. I’m in a class by myself. There are many factors that have shaped me this way – the majority of them being environmental. I won’t bother going into them right now.
Purple is a lot of things I’m not – things I wish to be. For example, it’s a very calming color. I’m not a very calm person. Purple is beautiful. Now, I’ve been told I’m beautiful, but I’m talking about an inner beauty. I seem to lack much of that.
It’s important to note here that I don’t say this because I’m having a pity party and I’m looking for someone to say, “Awww, you have a lot of inner beauty!” No, I’m a very honest person and I know myself very well. Rest assured, I’m not fishing for compliments. People such as myself are prone to be extremely honest. I truly can’t be otherwise.
Purple is such a lovely color and if anyone says otherwise, well, them’s fightin’ words! -

Today I’d have to say white as I look out at the landscape covered by a blanket of snow. Beautiful. But like life, that can change. I may feel differently when I venture out later today and have to drive on roads that will be either icy or snow-packed. Some would say white is not really a color. But it reflects all colors. It changes. It’s like life. I hope I can be resilient and flexible to change like the color white.

Red because I’m bold, put together with Green because i love Christmas a time of happiness. Blue rings through to me because the beach is my safe place against everything black that I love to wear.
