Oh yes! I remember Charles Dickens well and Huckleberry Finn series but I don’t remember who wrote that and lots of little paperback mystery books like the Green Lantern, etc. My Mom had tons of em!!!

Many authors inspire me to tell stories in all sorts of ways. And it is by the way they tell that they leave their names for posterity.

I don’t have one favourite author. I have several! Read on to find out who they are.
My favorite was Jim Collins author of Good To Great. My own book Success Strategies of leaders was inspired by him.
On the other hand, I admire Steven King because of his humble beginnings. In his early writings he never gave up and became a household name as I shared in this writing on books every author should read

Hey everyone I hope all is well 🙂
I don’t have a favorite author but I did enjoy reading The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo and The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet’s Nest by Stieg Larsson. The first two books were really good and I think he died by the third one. I haven’t read a lot of books by the same author so I can name the books that I like rather than the authors…
Thanks for reading!

[…] Who is your favorite author and why? I don’t have a favorite author but there are many that I enjoy. I like Ken Follet, his Kingsbridge series beginning with Pillars of the Earth, and The Century Trilogy , ending with The Edge of Eternity, are among some of my favorite books. Other favorite authors are Pat Conroy, Jodi Picoult, Jonathan Kellerman, Nicholas Sparks, and Liane Moriarty. I have recently discovered Fredrick Backman, who I think given time, and a few more reads, will end up on this list. I also really like listening to Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum novels, but I believe that is mostly due to her narrator, Lorelei King. […]

My favorite Author is Elizabeth Peters who writes in the first person as Amelia Peabody Emerson; her character in her books. Her whole family is involved in her adventures. But do read my Blog post and see more….
I love the feel of a real “book” in my hands, nothing like it! Besides writing, reading is my favorite activity. (my picture disappeared and I don’t know how to retrieve it) This is Jan. 21, 2023
