If you could un-invent something, what would it be?
The invention and the use of social media have ushered in a variety of evil deeds upon humanity.
I know it’s anti-climatic considering I am also using social media, but one cannot ignore the various crimes perpetrated with the use of different social media platforms.
Nowadays, people can’t go on the internet without having to close unending pop-ups to porn sites and various distractions. The world is becoming overturned with pornographers and nudists leaving no ounce of decency for the young minds and the upcoming generation.
Don’t get me started on cybercrimes. People get their identity stolen and misuse to defraud others, most people get blackmailed by people who unlawfully obtained their private details. Most people have resulted to cyber bullying. They focus on judging others, bullying the weak and channeling their sadness on others.
From people losing their lives in the process of copying trends to others becoming depressed and suicidal because of failure in trying to keep up fake appearances on social media just to gain validation from strangers.
The world has been hit by a plague that if I could, I would un-invent social media.

After all, the world would be nothing without art. Because if it didn’t exist, I would invent it.

I’ve had a long relationship (from a technical perspective) with cryptocurrencies, and so people are sometimes surprised to hear : I’d be delighted to “uninvent” cryptocurrency.

Disinventerei tutta la grande farsa mondiale che somma bugie di bugie che hanno falsificato le storie, le culture, le verità, l’essenza. Eliminando tutta questa cozzaglia di bugie come effetto domino sparirebbero tanti altri mali dalle guerre politche-religiose, alle malattie create e via dicendo.
